BROTHER WAYNE’S PARAGRAPHS
We have just finished six years in full-time
Evangelism, Sunday School Revivals and Church
Growth Ministry. Please pray for us as we continue
doing what God has called us to do.
Enclosed you will find the schedule of our
meetings for the year 2010, with the dates that are
available. It is my desire to help each church reach
their potential to become a better “Healthy Kingdom
Church.” If you feel led, after praying, and the Holy
Spirit is leading you to invite me for a revival, a one-
day revival, or a Sunday School revival, if the dates
are available I will be glad to come.
Also, out of the ninety-four Sunday School
revivals I have preached, every church has reached
their goal, with the exception of five churches. To
God Be The Glory! It’s not so much about reaching
numbers, but it’s about reaching prospects and
seeing souls saved.
We have had some wonderful meetings. Many
souls have been saved and lives changed and
dedicated to the service of the Lord Jesus Christ.
May I say thanks to each of our board members
that have served faithfully these six years. A special
thanks to the New Liberty Baptist Church in
Ringgold, where Joan and I are members. Brother
Danny Henson, the pastor, has been a friend for
many years.
I have pastored twelve different churches in forty-
one years, all located in Northwest Georgia. My wife,
Joan, has been my secretary for most of those years,
and choir director in the last three churches. I thank
God for her help through the years.
Let me encourage each of you to visit the Wayne
Hamrick Ministries website, occasionally, for
updates and encourage your friends to visit it also.
May I say a very special thanks to Micah, our son, for
keeping the website up-to-date: www.

DADDY’S LITTLE BOY
Daddy had a little boy,
His soul was white as snow;
He never went to Sunday School,
‘cause Daddy didn’t go!
He never heard the Word of Christ
that thrill the childish mind---
While other children went to class
this child was left behind.
And as he grew from babe to youth ---
he saw to his dismay,
A soul that once was snowy white
become a dingy grey.
Realizing the boy was lost ---
he tried to win him back.
But now the soul that once was white,
had turned to ugly black.
He even then went back to church
and Sunday School too.
He begged the preacher, “Isn’t there
anything that we can do?”
The preacher tried, failed and said,
“We’re just too far behind.
I tried to tell you years ago,
but you would pay no mind.”
And so another soul is lost,
that once was white as snow.
Sunday School could have helped ---
but Daddy wouldn’t go.

LETTER FROM ALABAMA PASTOR
Dear Dr. Hamrick,
Greetings in the name of our wonderful Lord! I trust things are well with you, Mrs. Joan and your family.
I am writing to tell you that we exceeded our Sunday School goal on Easter Sunday. When you were with us for the Sunday School revival on March 6 & 7, we set our goal for 180. Praise the Lord, we had 255 in Sunday School! This is the highest Sunday School attendance in my ten plus years of tenure at New Home Baptist Church. I trust this is the beginning of greater growth in our Sunday School Ministry. We also had the highest attendance in our worship service for an Easter Sunday in my tenure at New Home Baptist. The final count was 545-550, which is conservative. People were coming in from all directions and our counter had a hard time getting an accurate count….Praise the Lord.
The quartet brought the house down as they pretended to sing the song “Excuses.” It was a good time for our people to laugh and smile. Thanks for the idea to do that as motivation for attendance. It worked well with our people.
I have consented to wear an Auburn Shirt when we reach 300 in Sunday School. This will be a great sacrifice for me, since I am a die-hard Alabama fan and both my daughter’s attend the University of Alabama. But, when we reach 300 in Sunday School it will be well worth the sacrifice.
Doc, I appreciate your ministry to our people. I am convinced that the Lord used you to motivate our people toward making this day successful. Also, Mrs. Joan was a blessing to our Music Directors. They have made some decisions after meeting with her that has already and will in the future have a positive impact on our choir and music ministry. Please, tell her that she was a great encouragement to our Music leaders.
If I can ever be of any help to you, my dear brother, do not hesitate to call. Pray with us that we will continue to see growth in the Sunday School and Music Ministry of our church. If any Pastor’s have questions about your ministry, it would be my joy to share with them how the Lord used both of you to minister and encourage our people.
Because of HIM!

SOME THINGS SOUTHERN BAPTIST
HAVE LEARNED ABOUT SUNDAY SCHOOL
1. The best way for a church to grow numerically
is through the Sunday School. Ninety per cent of the
people who have joined our churches have been
reached first by the Sunday School.
2. The Sunday School can teach the Bible
effectively if right methods are followed.
3. Adult church members not enrolled in Sunday
School miss out on much of that which the church
has to offer ---- especially personal attention.
4. An absent pupil, when not promptly contacted,
gradually loses interest and eventually drops out
completely.
5. People who drop out of Sunday School tend to
drop out of other church activities as well.
6. The church can use the Sunday School to
accomplish any task involving all the people.
7. Build a great Sunday School and nothing in
the world can keep you from having a great
church.
